| The testing for approval of the Tuk Tuk for North America and other countries that recognize EPA Certifications will be complete soon. Testing began in Nov 2007. This elaborate testing covers all aspects for design, safety, and emissions. As of May 15, 2008 the epa testing is 55% complete. EPA is very busy testing vehicles as the Tuk Tuk is not the only vehicle to be tested. There are several times in which the vehicle must wait in line for the next scheduled exam. While none of us like to wait in line, in this case we must wait. The Tuk Tuk testing includes Calfornia CARB testing so the Tuk Tuk will be welcome in California too. The tuk tuk has been seeing alot of interest nationwide. From the begining of this year TTNA has made progress in the final steps of EPA & DOT approvals. Now the Tuk Tuk can be brought
to USA and 34 other countries under the NEW international Trade Agreement TTNA worked out taking several months to complete. EPA has granted entry for the tuk tuk until final testing is complete
allowing the many dealerships to begin getting demo models to show their customers. DOT has approved with the same support. SAE has approved the lighting.
